Christopher Kwolek, MD, MBA, FACS
Christopher Kwolek, MD is a Partner at The Vascular Care Group and Chief Medical Officer of Mangrove Management Partners. Dr. Kwolek also serves on the Board of Managers of Mangrove Management Partners.
Dr. Kwolek is a Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 30 years of surgical experience. Dr. Kwolek served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and was previously the Vascular Fellowship Training Program Director in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He also established the first integrated Vascular residency program at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital and served as the Chief of Vascular Surgery and Chair of Surgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He has been a member of advisory boards for PQ Bypass, Vortex Medical, Bolton Medical, Cardiomems, Boston Scientific Corporation, Guidant Corporation, Medtronic, Edward Lifesciences, Endologix, Silk Road Medical, and Leapfrog Group. Dr. Kwolek has served as a site and national Principal Investigator in over 40 clinical device trials and has over 120 peer reviewed publications and book chapters.
Dr. Kwolek earned his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and his BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
