George Calapai

George Calapai is the Chief Information Officer at Mangrove Management Partners.

Mr. Calapai is an accomplished technology leader whose career bridges cybersecurity architecture, risk-based IT audit, and enterprise technology strategy. Before joining Mangrove, he was Principal Information Technology Auditor at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, directing SOX, FFIEC, and NIST IT examinations. Previously, he was Director of Information Technology at InVivo Therapeutics, steering FDA-regulated clinical-research platforms through large-scale digital transformations. Across more than fifteen years, Mr. Calapai has built best-practice-aligned security frameworks, implemented AI-centric cyber defense programs, and turned regulatory complexity into strategic opportunity, delivering results that fortify defenses and enable growth.

Mr. Calapai earned his MEng in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance from The George Washington University and his BS in Healthcare Management from Northeastern University.
